RPTS Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, leadership and other criteria indicated for each. Numbers of scholarships awarded each year will vary depending on endowment fund return.

RPTS Undergraduate Scholarship Application

Royce Wisenbaker, Jr. Scholarship

RPTS Major (U2+ status). Minimum GPA of 2.8 in major and 2.5 overall.
Selection will be based on need, scholarship and commitment to park, recreation and tourism field.

COADC - Jana Wisenbaker Scholarship

RPTS Major (U2+ status). Minimum GPA of 2.5. Selection will be based on need, scholarship and and commitment to park, recreation and tourism field..

Gene Phillips Memorial Scholarship

RPTS Major (U2+ status). Minimum GPA of 2.8. Selection will be based on need, scholarship and desire to advance the field of tourism. Recipient must be able to attend Texas Travel Summit at departmental expense.

Clara Wuest Heidemann Scholarship

RPTS Major (U3+ status). Minimum GPA of 2.5. Selection will be based on need, scholarship, leadership in tourism field, and a vision of the potential of the tourism industry. Recipient must be able to attend Texas Travel Summit at departmental expense.

COADC - Heidemann Wuest Scholarship

RPTS Major (U3+ status). Minimum GPA of 2.5. Selection will be based on need, scholarship, leadership in tourism field, and a vision of the potential of the tourism industry. Recipient must be able to attend Texas Travel Summit at departmental expense.

Kevin Piskura Memorial Scholarship

RPTS Major. Selection will be based on need, scholarship, commitment to field of natural resource recreation.

COADC - Joyce Nies & Peter Witt Scholarship

Two recipients. RPTS Major (U2+ status). Minimum GPA of 2.5. Selection will be based on need, scholarship, interest in recreation and youth development.
