Welcome to RENR 375:
Conservation of Natural Resources

The objectives of this course are to familiarize students with basic economic, legal, political, social and ecological principles, concepts and rules applicable to environmental and natural resource issues.

This course uses these principles to help understand environmental and resource problems and to suggest and evaluate possible solutions to these issues.

The instructor uses a discussion approach for the lectures. Student preparation prior to class, namely completing the assigned readings, and participation in class is required.

Students must be familiar with the material to be covered during a class session and be prepared to discuss it in class. It will be difficult to follow the lectures unless you are familiar with the readings.
